The European client took the initiative to transform its business system towards a project-centric one due to further growth and a strategically intended different business mix.

Based on the identified critical success factors of the targeted business model, the blue print of the new process model was developed. The business requirements were captured, prioritized along with the planned strategic development of the business system and transformed into specifications for the SW tool. The implementation plan of this blue print was then organized into modular work packages and, after feasibility testing, transferred into a consistent and stable transformation program. 

In this case, one key objective in program planning was the synchronization of process modeling with tool development and roll-out. This allows responding to emerging operational constraints within the transformation phase.
