Dewey & Partner completed the transformation project DIGIT at the EADS "Defence and Security Systems" division after 18 months. The new Information Management Shared Service, spanning 4 business units in 5 countries, was organizationally established and strategically aligned.
More than 300 employees had to be reorganized in international competence centers for 'Business Process Solutions', 'Infrastructures & Operations' and 'Services'. The ambitious transformation program did not allow for a long orientation phase. The new teams had to be productive within a very short period. Numerous decisions had to be made and implemented.
The result is impressive: The teams not only realized in excess of 18 mio € of annual savings through consolidation and standardization of infrastructures, services and contracts. In addition, new collaborative capabilities have been achieved which support EADS in their vision to be fast and flexible on the market.
