The responsible EADS CIO for this project, Dieter Schmidbaur, emphasizes in this article the extend of integration and governance, even into the business-oriented application areas, within this shared service concept. Formerly, ICT management was completely decentralized in the organization.
This enabled the achieved extend of harmonization and standardization together with associated savings. The speed of realization of this transformation project lead to break even already within the transformation phase. dp supported the project during the development of the strategic concept as well as the implementation.
